No queue at the shop on the first morning.
The first morning of a ski week is often spent in a rental shop: boots to try, children getting impatient, the best snow of the day going by. I arrange for the fitting to come to the chalet instead, so that the first morning starts on the slopes.
How it works
Before you arrive, you send me each person's height, weight, shoe size and ski level, through your private space or simply by message. The ski hire team prepares everything from those details and comes to the chalet to fit boots, adjust bindings and check helmets, usually the evening you arrive.
During the week
The skis stay in the chalet's ski room, with boots on the warmers. If a boot hurts or someone wants to try different skis, I have it changed without you going down to the shop.
For the whole family
Children's equipment, helmets and back protectors, snowboards, touring or off-piste skis for those going out with a guide: everything is prepared in the same way, for each member of the party.
Questions
When should I send the sizes?
A week or two before you arrive is ideal. Changes are always possible on site.
Can you also arrange lift passes and instructors?
Yes. Lift passes are delivered to the chalet, and instructors meet you at the door or at the nearest lift.
Tell me your dates and your party.
I answer myself, usually within the hour, and prepare the equipment with the rest of your stay.
